WarriorPlus
Launch marketplace for the make-money-online niche. 4.9% + 10c per sale with volume discounts gated on vendor score. Great for vendors with a crowd, a waiting room for vendors without one. Hands-on review.
I put one digital product on WarriorPlus. A few affiliates signed up. Not much happened after that.
That's a smaller story than my JVZoo one, but it's the more common experience, so it's worth telling properly.
Who it's for
Vendors selling to the make-money-online crowd who already have an affiliate following, and who want a marketplace where those affiliates can find the launch, grab a link and get paid without the vendor doing anything.
If you're established there, it works. The five-star reviews on Trustpilot are almost all from returning vendors saying some version of "it just works." The one-star reviews are almost all from new affiliates who can't withdraw. That split tells you who the platform is built for.
Who should skip it
New vendors with no affiliate crowd. Anyone selling outside the internet-marketing niche. Anyone who wants to launch a free front-end offer as their first move, because WarriorPlus won't list it.
What it was like to use
WarriorPlus grew out of the Warrior Forum, where people sold "Warrior Special Offers" in a forum thread. The forum still exists separately. The marketplace kept the culture: funnels, upsells, launch calendars, leaderboards.
Listing a product means submitting it for a manual compliance review, which takes one to three business days, and using the WarriorPlus buy button as your only checkout. Their help centre also mentions "cooldown intervals" between submissions, which they don't publish. I didn't hit one, but you might.
Then you wait for affiliates. Some apply. My experience, and JVZoo was the same, is that the marketplace shows your product to affiliates who are already looking at a hundred other products that week. Without a relationship or a launch push behind you, you're a row in a list.
What I'll give WarriorPlus credit for is the vendor score. It's a visible number that tracks your refund rate and sales history, and it gates real things: volume discounts on fees, eligibility to list free offers, Deal of the Day. It's a reputation system that actually does something. The catch is that it also means new vendors start with none of those perks.
Pricing, decoded
Free to list. A one-time $5 fee plus ID verification to enable withdrawals from your Wallet.
The platform fee is 4.9% plus 10 cents per transaction, on top of your processor's fee. There's a volume ladder, but it's gated on a vendor score of 60 or higher and your trailing 30 days of revenue:
- $1,000+: 4.5%
- $2,500+: 3.9%
- $10,000+: 3.5%
- $25,000+: 2.9%
- $50,000+: 2.5%
- $100,000+: 2.0%
Note the trailing-30-days part. Have a quiet month and your rate goes back up.
Money flows like this: the buyer pays your PayPal or Stripe directly, in full. WarriorPlus then pulls the affiliate commission from you and puts it in the affiliate's Wallet. So you hold the cash, and the affiliate waits on WarriorPlus to release it.
The affiliate side, which affects you
Your affiliates get paid on a delay that WarriorPlus sets dynamically, somewhere between 3 and 90 days. New affiliates start at 30. Before they can withdraw anything, they need five unique paying customers, or they wait up to 180 days. Minimums are $15 for PayPal, Payoneer and Stripe, $100 for bank.
That delay can be extended retroactively. Affiliates have reported Wallet balances going negative after refunds hit sales they'd already been credited for.
Why does this matter to you as the vendor? Because the best affiliates know this, and they weigh it. If your product is on WarriorPlus and a competitor's is on a platform that pays weekly with no customer minimum, guess which link gets posted.
Lock-in: 2 out of 5
What gets you out: you keep your processor and your buyer data. Buyer emails are searchable in your account, and there are integrations for AWeber, Sendlane and Zapier plus an IPN. Nothing stops you selling the same product elsewhere tomorrow.
What keeps you in: your vendor score doesn't transfer. Every launch you've done, every refund rate you've earned, stays on WarriorPlus. Start somewhere else and you're new again.
Gotchas
- Free offers aren't listed for new vendors. You need a good vendor score and recent revenue first. The classic "free front end, paid upsell" play isn't available to you on day one.
- Undisclosed cooldowns between product submissions. Their words.
- Refunds are full only. No partial refunds. The fee and the affiliate commission both get clawed back, and chargebacks freeze funds.
- Volume discounts reset on a slow month.
- Deal of the Day is pitched to new vendors, but a widely quoted line from their own team puts the odds of being featured at about 1%.
- Affiliate payout delays can be extended after the fact, which can push your affiliates' Wallets negative.
- JV contracts cap at 70% of net to the partner.
Integrations
PayPal and Stripe as processors. AWeber, Sendlane, Zapier and an IPN for custom hooks. JV contracts are built in, including an affiliate-referral JV that works as a second tier: one person recruits affiliates and takes a cut of what they generate.
If you're leaving
Export your buyers. Write to the affiliates who sold anything and get a direct email. Your vendor score stays behind, so if you plan to come back for a launch later, don't close the account, just let it sit.
Verdict
WarriorPlus is a fine marketplace for people who already have a crowd in that niche. The fee ladder rewards volume, the vendor score rewards low refunds, and the JV tooling is mature.
It did nothing for me because I showed up with a product and no crowd, and the marketplace doesn't fix that. The affiliates who applied were browsing, not committing. If I were selling to internet marketers again, I'd build the affiliate relationships first, then use WarriorPlus as the checkout and leaderboard for a launch I'd already lined up. Used that way, it's a tool. Used as a source of affiliates, it's a waiting room.
